Water Quality Monitoring at WHCS

For several years students at WHCS have been actively monitoring the water quality of the Jemez Watershed as part of their rigorous science curriculum. Students collect physical, chemical and environmental indicators of their water samples to determine the "health" of the water conditions. WHCS partners with Rich Shrader and Carlos Herrera of Riversource.net who support youth groups throughout New Mexico to become good stewards of their environment by providing science and policy education, planning, monitoring, and ecological restoration services.
